Tell the authors where a part broke

A failure report names the part, the material it failed on and what went wrong. Its authors and the maintainers are told, and the report appears on the part's page. A confirmed failure can become a test in an evaluation.

What happens next

  1. The authors and maintainers are told
    The report appears on the part's page, without your name.
  2. They respond
    They confirm it, ask for material, or explain the scope, and set its state.
  3. An evaluator may test it
    A confirmed failure can become a stress or benchmark test.
  4. A new version addresses it
    You are told when its state changes.
