About this dataset
Earthquakes worldwide from the ANSS Comprehensive Catalog (ComCat): time, location, depth, magnitude and type of every event, from 1900 (complete for small events in recent decades). Good for frequency–magnitude, aftershock and regional seismicity studies. Public domain.
Use it in a run
The USGS Earthquake Catalog connector loads it when a study's question needs it. Each load is recorded with what was read, when, the terms and the citation, and the study's page lists it under "Data used".
