Use it in a run
The Yahoo Finance (yfinance) connector loads it when a study's question needs it. Each load is recorded with what was read, when, the terms and the citation, and the study's page lists it under "Data used".
e2er run "<your research question>"Yahoo Finance keeps no releases; prices can be revised. Each load records the ticker and the date it was read.
