AIPOCH, Medical Research Skills
“Hundreds of agent skills for medical research, including protocol design, data analysis, evidence insights, and academic writing.” (the repository's description)
The collection
AIPOCH keeps this collection of skills for AI assistants that read SKILL.md files (Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw) on GitHub and shares it under MIT. In its own words (README, “Medical Research Agent Skills”):
A curated library of 550+ medical research agent skills created by AIPOCH, designed to work with Claude Code, Codex, and other `SKILL.md`-compatible agent platforms. It supports the research workflow across four core areas: Evidence Insights, Protocol Design, Data Analysis, and Academic Writing. Built exclusively for medical and biomedical researchers.
AIPOCH Open-Science, AIPOCH's open-source AI research workbench, includes a selection of the skills from this library for use within its research workspace.
Every skill in this library is reviewed and evaluated through MedSkillAudit — A Domain-Specific Audit Framework for Medical Research Agent Skills — before going live. Equip your AI agent with AIPOCH medical research skills, and turn it into a capable medical research assistant.
How e2er lists it
e2er read the collection at version 686e09d and lists each of its skills on a page of its own in Skills, with the name and description quoted from the skill's SKILL.md. e2er added the field (Health and medicine) and shows the grade of the MedSkillAudit report in each skill's folder as AIPOCH's own audit.
Of 605 skill folders, 5 are left out: 4 whose SKILL.md front matter is not valid YAML, 1 whose SKILL.md has no description, since e2er quotes the description as it stands and does not repair it. None is graded Reject by AIPOCH's audit or marked deprecated.
Each skill carries this line:
Found on: AIPOCH, Medical Research Skills, github.com/aipoch/medical-research-skills (MIT), version 686e09d of 17 September 2026, read 14 October 2026
AIPOCH's own audit
MedSkillAudit is AIPOCH's framework for auditing its medical research skills (skill-auditor); a skill's folder keeps its report. The grades are AIPOCH's assessment of its own skills. e2er has not evaluated them.
| AIPOCH's own audit: Production Ready | 585 |
| AIPOCH's own audit: Limited Release | 13 |
| No report in the folder | 2 |
Can e2er use them?
Not by default: no e2er specialist reads them, and e2er skills install does not fetch them. A specialist can read one skill's instructions once its SKILL.md is saved as ~/.e2er/skills/aipoch/<skill>.md and a template names it under [skills]; e2er then reads that one file as text, and the other files of the skill's folder (scripts, references) stay unread. Each skill's page gives the exact name.
