Email address
Your account has no confirmed email address yet (ORCID does not share one). Add one below; until it is confirmed you can read but not publish or contribute.
e2er.org sends no email at the moment, so the address cannot be changed here yet.
e2er.org sends a link to the new address. Once you confirm it, the old address gets a notice with a link that restores it for 7 days.
Name
Researcher profile
Shown: your name and profile page are public, and the People page and the search list you. Hidden: your profile has no page and is not listed anywhere; studies and parts you are credited on still name you.
If the site already credits you under another profile, for instance for a study or a skill, find that profile and ask for it to be linked to this account. A maintainer checks the request; nothing is linked automatically. Once approved, that profile replaces the one made for this account.
Profile claims waiting for a decision
Deciding asks for the code from your authenticator app. Every decision is recorded.
Command line
Tokens that e2er login created. Each can publish studies and lasts 90 days from its last use. Remove one you do not recognise.
GitHub
e2er.org checks a published study by reading its files at the pinned commit. Public repositories need nothing. For a private repository, install the e2er.org GitHub App: it may only read contents, and only for your own studies.
GitHub Actions
A workflow in your repository can run e2er verify on every push and report the result here without a stored secret: GitHub vouches for the repository, workflow and commit. Name the repository and workflow each study trusts. The workflow file.
Ways to sign in
Linking happens only from here, while you are signed in. Two accounts with the same email address are never joined automatically.
Password
This account signs in with GitHub or ORCID. With a password it can also sign in with its email address.
Password
Two-step sign-in
Scan the code with your authenticator app, or enter the key by hand, then type the six-digit code the app shows.
Recovery codes. Each works once if you lose your device. Keep them somewhere safe; they are shown only now.
Sessions
Notifications
Decisions on what you contributed, comments, reports and changes to your account. All of them under My submissions.
Maintainers and admins
Maintainers decide on contributions, claims and notices; admins also grant roles. Every grant and withdrawal asks for a code from your authenticator app and is kept in the audit log.
Accounts
Every account on e2er.org, newest first, hidden profiles included. Only admins see this list, after confirming with the code from their authenticator app.
| Name | Signed up | Signs in with | Email address | Profile |

Reviewer access codes
One code per manuscript, valid for 120 days. The code is shown once; only its fingerprint is stored.
Your data
Download everything e2er.org keeps about you (JSON). Tokens, password hashes and two-step secrets are left out.
Delete the account
Deleting removes your account, sign-in methods, sessions and command-line sign-ins. Studies and parts you are credited on stay, credited to "Former member".
